Know All About Hair Loss Products

Losing hair, especially when one is still young is not a laughing matter and to some people it can turn out to be a great source of anxiety due to the emotional and mental humiliation that results from it. While for a long time this problem was mainly associated with men, these days women are fast becoming victims of hair loss as well. There is a wide range of hair loss products to choose from; there are natural herbs, shampoos, conventional drugs, conditioners, serums, lotions and essential oils. As aforementioned, there are very many products to counter this problem but people should also be cautious because some are not effective. Prior to choosing a hair loss product it is important that a person identifies the reason as to why they are losing hair. Generally, hormonal imbalance is blamed for both men and women losing hair. Finding a way of regulating the hormones can really help but if this does not work then one can bring in the other products.  Diseases that affect the scalp is another cause of hair loss because they often turn septic if left untreated. The scalp should therefore always be clean, healthy and oiled regularly wit quality oil.

When it comes to conventional drugs as hair loss products, it is Rogaine, Minoxidil and Finasteride that are the most common. In pharmacies, Finasteride is usually sold to consumers as Propecia and it is only men who can make use of this product. Minoxidil is on the other hand a very effective and common method of treatment and is very effective especially for younger men. Consumers should however be very cautious when using this drug so as to avoid side effects such as low libido and itchy scalp. Rogaine just like the other drugs is obtained from drugstores and it should be applied twice every day for three to four times everyday so as to get the best results.

Among the most common natural hair loss products are Viviscal which maintains healthy hair in addition to treating hair thinning and hair loss.  Thymuskin is also very good but works better for women as compared to men.  It works by clearing the follicles of oil, debris, dirt and so on. The thymus peptides found in it are known to diffuse in the follicles and cleans them. Dr. Proctor is another common natural remedy and comes in the form of a shampoo. Most people like this remedy because it is easy to apply and its life extension version gives support to healthy hair as well. Revivogen is also common not to mention Hair Genesis which comes in the form of shampoo, supplements, topical serums and works by stopping the blockers of DHT. The product is usually preferred by women. Nisim and Tricom are also very common products when it comes to hair loss and do not seem to have any side effects as well.

Pure and quality coconut oil also helps in hair nourishment and also prevents hair loss. Products with tulasi, neem, amla and hibiscus flower as well as castor oil and products with castor oil can be quite effective as well. Finally, there are options such as wigs and surgery that one could explore but in case of permanent baldness or hair loss, then the only option left is hair transplantation.
